GEN62
GEN62 is an affordable desktop six-axis robotic arm for light-duty automation and robot integration, as well as embodied AI development, research, and education. A 3.5 kg arm weight and 3.5 kg maximum payload at full reach deliver a 1:1 maximum payload-to-weight ratio. With a 2 kg rated payload, 660 mm working radius, ±0.1 mm repeatability, all-harmonic drive, and an open software ecosystem, GEN62 makes six-axis manipulation accessible to more teams.
Core Advantages
1:1 Maximum Payload-to-Weight Ratio
A 3.5 kg arm supports a 3.5 kg maximum payload at full reach, with a 2 kg rated payload. Its low weight reduces the load on AMRs, quadrupeds, and inspection platforms, while a 660 mm working radius supports grasping, pick-and-place, and light-object transfer.
All-Harmonic Drive, Accessible Cost
Harmonic transmission on all six axes, with RealMan's in-house joint modules, brings reliable six-axis manipulation to light-duty automation, research, and robot integration at an accessible purchase cost.
Orthogonal Wrist
A three-axis orthogonal wrist reduces motion coupling and supports continuous trajectories, helping limit unnecessary adjustments and jitter during teleoperation and imitation-learning data collection.
Soft Brakes on All Joints
J1–J6 use soft brakes for smooth braking during powered operation. The arm can be repositioned by hand when powered off, simplifying installation alignment, packing, and relocation.
Flexible Mounting and Deployment
Supports upright, inverted, and side mounting on desktops, rails, and mobile platforms. Base-integrated and separate controllers are available, with no external control cabinet required. A DC 20–30 V input range simplifies power integration.
Shared Software Platform
Uses the same control software platform as existing RealMan arm series, with hand-guiding, teach-pendant, API, and JSON control. SDKs, ROS 2 drivers, and URDF models support rapid development and reuse across robot models.
